Ingredients (My Favorite Brands)

  • For the Burger Patties

    • 1 lb ground chicken

    • 2 tablespoons diced green onions (green parts only)

    • 2 tablespoons minced chives

    • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

    • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce (check ingredients — I used Noble Made)

    • 1/4 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs

    • 1 tablespoon garlic-infused olive oil

    • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Additional Items

    • Gluten-free hamburger buns

    • Sliced cheddar cheese

    • Desired toppings: Avocado, lettuce, sliced tomato, additional blue cheese or buffalo sauce, etc.

Instructions

  • If you are serving with fries, get those in the oven first!

  • Combine all burger ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Divide into four patties.

  • Heat additional oil in a pan over medium heat (or use a grill). Cook the burgers 5-6 minutes per side and ensure they reach an internal temperature of at least 165° F. Put a lid over the skillet if you are having trouble getting the middle to reach the desired temperature.

  • A couple minutes before they’re done, add a slice of cheddar on top of each patty to get melty.

  • Assemble burgers with desired toppings and serve with fries!

Fine with Fructose?

  • Add diced red onion to the burger patties.
